:puke:The pistol grip versions look horrible. The other one is ok looking. I definatly wouldn't pay 1200 federal reserve notes for one.

    I bought one ...

I have already accessorized with the tri-rail and a vertical grip, but I would sure like to get my hands on the telescoping stock as shown in the top photo.

Recently on GunBroker.com, I happened to run across this MR1 model with a telescoping stock. I asked the seller about the telescoping stock and he indicated that it was a Benelli item.

I have not found this listed for sale anywhere, including on Benelli’s website, but that’s not unusual as the MR1 tri-rail was also a hard item to find. I finally was able to purchase that from Brownells.

Can anyone tell me where I might be able find a dealer that offers this telescoping stock or could I order it from Benelli ? I have sent them e-mail but all I've gotten is crickets so far. I've also tried Brownell's and Midway ... no go.

Why do most new rifles look like they're from the same assembly plant in outer space?:sad20:

    THIS is a beautiful firearm:

+1...that Benelli is ugly as sh*t.

Looks like they get their rifle stocks from their shotgun parts bin... I think you'd need to practice a good neck-weld to use an optic.

M4 Super 90 has an adjustable cheek

But I don't want to spend $400+ to find out that an M4 telescoping stock won't 'bolt up'.

So far the response to my e-mails and phone calls to Benelli has been 'crickets' ...

I guess I'll stick with the 'stock' stock on my MR1. The pull is slightly shorter than I would like, but it's manageable.

you can have thicker pads to lengthen the pull

and you can raise the comb of the cheek rest

how does it shoot though and which mags work for you?
