    Need some help guys.
I want to replace the original recoil pad on my Remigton 700 30-06. Over time the rubber has become stiff. There is a plastic prt mounted to the stock, rubber attatched to that.
My problem is how does it come off?
No screws holding it on that I can see. Would it be glued onto the stock?
Wanted to find out here first before I go prying the old one off.

How old is your 700? I wanted to put a good padded one on mine but found that it was too old (late 80s), to put on one of Remington's super padded ones. I ended up have Bobby Bollinger put on a good one shaved to fit.

Rifle was made in the 80's. it's a BDL model 700 if it makes a difference.:)

Their SuperCell pad only fits 2004 & newer. Look into a slip on pad or one that attaches & you have to shave to fit.
