    Ponder yourself and those missed shots a bit more.

    Then, figure out the best scope option for you and your set up. Figure out your budget for said scope and then bump it up at least10%. That 10% often gets you 15 minutes or more of viable deer hunting time since most of it happens at dusk/dawn.

    No reason to do all the prep work, pay the fees, etc. and then miss a shot since you had a weak scope.

    Yes, you can go cheaper but you'll see what I mean when you pass deer on your way out from your stand that you couldn't take a shot on with your cheaper scope.
