I have a feeling that after the dust settles, the Colonel will be back in the NRA after a few others are forced out.
This all depends on what North has dug up.

Regardless of what people have said about him, Colonel North is one hard core Patriot that I would trust with my life in a hot second.

....and now for the haters that will try to prove (and fail) that North is a murdering traitor that hates his country.

    Already a thread:

He did not "step down" he was basically ousted. And, leaking info to the NYT that helps the NYC AG investigate and dismantle the NRA basically makes him a traitor.

    Traitor,,,
The convention began with Richard Childress, the N.R.A.’s first vice-president, reading aloud a letter from North, whose role in the organization is largely ceremonial, to hundreds of members gathered at the Indiana Convention Center, in Indianapolis. In the letter, North said that he would not seek a second term as president and had created a committee to examine the allegations of financial mismanagement by LaPierre. “If true, the NRA nonprofit status is threatened,” North’s letter said. “There is a clear crisis that needs to be dealt with immediately and responsibly so the NRA can continue to focus on protecting our Second Amendment.”

Wayne has been a problem since 1977, he needed to go in the early ninety's.
