Ok they did say its 2 weeks behind. Not in a hurry though I did email them as something else they made struck my fancy. Hard to order more until I see the first two!

Whats the handle material on that, is that the buffalo horn? Really want an EK if the first two I ordered turn out ok, though an Expedition cleaver also is on the "want" list.

That's that looks much better than I expected.
Me too. I ordered both with horn.
That really is nice. If I do another order after receiving my Mk 1 and Mini I might have to go for Buffalo horn. I wonder how durable it is? That's what made me lean towards rosewood on my Mk 1 and Indian white on my Mini.

I’m happy with the Buffalo Horn handle. Each side has a slightly different shade and grain, which I wasn’t sure about at first. But I’ve grown to like it as it adds some character to the hand made piece, in my opinion. One thing I’m still coping with is the ridge that is cut in the middle of the handle. It just doesn’t quite feel right in my grip. My hand is the wrong size I guess.
