This is my baby. I don't get to shoot it much since I'm not a member of a range that allows you to shoot it...

It's a Gambler special...here are the components of interest:
    Bushnell Elite 4-16x40 Scope
    Black Rain Ordnance 308 Upper/Lower
    Rainier UltraMatch 16" Barrel
    Centurion CMR Rail (love it)
    MOE Rifle Stock
    Timney AR-10 Trigger
    Duracoated with Daniel Defense FDE

The thing that holds me back from .308 ARs besides finances is the multiple standards. I hate how they are not all compatible.
The ammo is all compatible, pick a style, Armalite and DPMS are the most readily available parts to pick from, build the damn gun and shoot it! :lol2: (hey... at least you can legally build one of these now... LMAO)

I really like my build so far, but I'm still working on finding it's sweet spot for a few different projectiles. Fortunately, there are a multitude of choices, as there are for the 556 loads.

They are a bit on the pricey side, especially if you go with high-end components for a custom build. It's usually cheaper to just buy a built gun, but.. that's not my style with AR's.. LOL

If you don't mind me asking, what buffer and spring did you end up using? I have the same stock waiting to go on mine.
