    Hi! My name is Jon and I am currently a resident of Virginia. I have held a concealed weapons permit from my state of residence for about the last 20 years. I am hopeful with the new court decisions affecting DC making it easier for a regular person to apply for a DC permit that soon it will be easier for people (even non-residents) to apply and receive a wear and carry permit in Maryland, although I know I am probably just dreaming.

    I have been a long time lurker around the forums but I decided to join now that I am ready to pull the trigger and apply for a wear and carry permit. In that vein, I am open to any and all suggestions on how I might be able to get approved as a non-resident.
