We are now taking consignment firearms. Bring your firearm by and we will research the firearm and put up for sale in our store. We will get the most money for you and we only take a 10% commission. Email us or stop by for more details.

Does this apply to guns that were on the regulated list prior to October 1, 2013 and are now banned in Maryland? I suppose you can always sell to out of state buyers.

We can take any gun in on consignment, but any gun that is restricted or banned in Maryland CAN NOT be sold to a Maryland resident. The only way we would be able to sell the gun is online to an out of state buyer.

If someone puts a handgun on consignment, then later decides not to sell it. would they need an HQL and a 7 day wait to get it back?

If someone leaves a banned longgun, such as an AR or AK, then decides not to sell it, would they be SOL, unable to have it returned?

If a handgun is put on consignment, and you decide later on not to sell it: you have to have the HQL, fill out the paperwork with the state (77R forms) and wait the 7 days to pick it back up.

Not sure about banned long guns. Will get in touch with the state police and get back to you.

We checked with MD State Police and their response was that the firearm is still legally yours (registered owner) and to get the firearm back you would have to fill out the Federal Form 4473 (NICS check) and with a proceed, we would release the firearm back to you.

I know laws are laws, but that's just weird that you'd have to get permission to get your guns back

If it's on consignment and then say a buddy wants to buy it, would we get it back to sell to the buddy or would they have to go thru you?

also as for pricing, if we put a firearm on consignment would we give you our minimum we're looking to get out of it and then you'd put your markup on that or would you do the pricing based on the market for that specific firearm? How does the pricing model work?

If it's on consignment your friend would typically go through us if it's within the consignment date terms that you would establish when you consign the firearm. If you want to get it back, you would have to fill out the appropriate paperwork (form 4473 for long gun, MSP Form 77r for a handgun) and would have to wait 7 days to get back if it's a handgun.

As for pricing, you would give us the minimum you want for the firearm. We would research the going prices and try to get the most for the firearm. We take 10% of the sales price.
