Since I switched calibers I now have a nice AR with no optics.

Is it possible to have a QD mount on two AR's so you could switch an EoTech back and forth instead of getting a new optic?

ends up being a PITA. more than likely your zero on each gun/scope combo will be different so you'll be adjusting it at every switch. and then there is no 100% guarantee that even putting the same scope back on the same gun will result in the same zero.

if you want to save some $ and have good vision, just leave open sights on one of them.

with most doing 3 gun going away from 1-4 scopes, and now, even 1-6 scopes, can prob pick one of those up for a decent price used.

I have never switched optics between guns, but i have removed an optic and had a perfect return zero....that is possible with Larue mounts, i cant say for others. I also use a paint marker on the base of my optics, hash mark exactly where the mounts sits....return to the same place. I would think you could do that with mult guns.
