I'm not one for the stag handle. Nothing in particular, just not my cup of tea.

Staff handle doesn't bother me, but the last Boker I got with 440A blade steel wouldn't sharpen worth a damn. But I think it was one of their Magnum series. Cheap knives with 420 steel are better than cheap knives with 440A. You can sharpen a 420 blade to a very temporary scary sharp, but no amount of sharpening will give you any kind of sharp on a cheap 440A.

Cold Steel® has outstanding heat treat on their blades generally. I bought an old Recon1 with 440A years ago. Also a couple of Night Forces. CS's 440A will draw blood just taking them out of their boxes! And they stay sharp, too!

For those with the Boker, what's the blade like?
