... and we (they) got a letter about it.

I corrected the error, spelling of my last name, and the paperwork was sent back. Anybody have any ideas as to how is this going to affect my "wait time"? Or at what point of the process would this have been discovered?

Silencerco Osprey can for one of my 1911s

For normal errors - the kickback is a positive sign as it means their towards the end of processing your submission. But for a name correction - no clue, never tried that. Every form 1 or 4 I've ever submitted - I review again, and again, and again. Good luck...

I had a form 4 that had "trust" misspelled in the name. the examiner put a correction in the box that says approved with the following condition. She wrote 2A. "TRUST". This was early 2016.

Did the shop express any regerts?

Ya, they were vrey sorry about it.

The corrected paperwork has already been returned, so I'm hoping it won't screw it up too much.

BTW, the original forms were sent 11/15/2016

This is not that big a deal. Corrections happen all the time on NFA forms. It'll knock you back a few weeks at most, but you're not going to the end of the line or something.
