I've done some research, and I think my best bet for the money is a KAK 9" Mr Blond barrel. They're going for $180 now, in various styles. I'm looking at the CHF & Melonite version. Would it be any better or worse than the SS or just Melonite versions ?
And are the any other makers I should review before I grab this one? I'd rather pick a good one to start. Not much concerned about weight. More interested in good potential accuracy. (And not trying a pile of barrels to find a good one.)
