President Joe Biden is tanking in Virginia and dragging the chances of former Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s run to return to the office.

In a new survey of the gubernatorial election in the state that has voted for Democrats in the past four elections, McAuliffe has gone from leading Republican businessman Glenn Youngkin to being tied at 48%.

Isn't it funny how Democrats always seem to come out on top at the last minute in every close election, everywhere.

Solution to the problem: do not allow any of the small, rural voting precincts to report their results until AFTER the Demonrat-infested NVA precincts have reported their FINAL results.

Is it to late for the Democrats to throw a third party candidate in the mix to siphon votes from Youngkin like they usually do?

A new poll reveals once Princess Blanding a third-party leftist also running for governor is added to the ballot, Youngkin leads McAuliffe 48% to 46%. Many of the polls you see on the VA governor race do not include the third-party candidate running, she may very well siphon off enough votes from McAuliffe for Youngkin to win. McAuliffe will likely not do very well with the Asian vote in NoVa (Biden effect) this time and that will benefit Youngkin.

So, what happened to the lawsuit to keep McAwful off the ballot because he didn't sign the entry papers?

(Yea, I figure it silently was dismissed or some such....)

McAwful went all arrogant on the "little people" Sheriffs who dared to question his support of law enforcement at a recent Sheriffs' conference.

WMAL played more of the audio on this morning's O'Connor and Company show, but I haven't found a longer video yet.
But 24 hours after Youngkin questioned McAuliffe’s record on public safety, McAuliffe received some pointed questions from sheriffs who support Youngkin. That included Montgomery County Sheriff Hank Partin, who is featured in a Youngkin campaign advertisement.

The exchange became heated when Partin questioned McAuliffe on an endorsement he received from a group the sheriff said supports defunding the police.

“Unbelievable,” Partin said after McAuliffe responded. “I don’t believe an answer to either one of those questions.”

Well, I don’t care what you believe,” McAuliffe responded. “I’ve got a track record. And I’m proud of that track record and I funded the police. I’ve never been for defund the police, so don’t bring your political rhetoric in here to me. I’ve got a record. I deal in facts!”
McAuliffe even played the "I won't dignify that with a response!" card.

Appears there's a televised debate between McAuliffe and Youngkin tonight starting at 7pm. Might be entertaining, especially if Youngkin can get under McAwful's skin. Debate is in Richmond, so I don't know if it'll be broadcast live in the DC area.

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – A new statewide poll shows Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin running neck and neck in Virginia’s race for governor, with undecided voters leaning towards the GOP nominee.

An 8News/Emerson College poll released Thursday shows McAuliffe captured the support of 49% of likely voters compared to Youngkin’s 45%, a lead within the margin of error of plus or minus 3.4%.

“Statistically speaking, the poll isn’t telling you that McAuliffe is going to win or Youngkin is going to lose. It is really saying it is a dead heat,” said Emerson College Polling Director Spencer Kimball.

The poll results came on the day of the first debate between the gubernatorial candidates and just before the start of early voting in Virginia this Friday.

The one key issue with this poll is they did not include the 3rd party leftist also on the ballot, which would reduce McAuliffe's vote count.

54% of independent voters side with Youngkin. Youngkin needs to do better with female voters.

Was going to start a new thread, but it seems to belong here.

McAuliffe is taking some heat for this:

Not sure why Youngkin has been so quiet on 2A, but whatever. I’ll take “Me Tall Business Good!” over getting what’s left of my 2A rights in Virginia fed into a wood chipper by the other guy.

I was listening to a clip of Terry saying parents shouldnt dictate what school boards teach. It opens the door further for more indoctrination

He's pro-2A and anti most restrictions, do you want him to largely broadcast that in a state thats been trending towards Dems? He has the opportunity to bring back VA in the R fold.

There will never be a Republican elected at any place to Democrats don't want them ever again. They have found the golden ticket so to speak on how to cheat and they will continue to do so. You're never going to see a Republican majority in Congress You're never going to see a Republican president and you're never going to see a Republican in any swing state as governor.
