I have been going back and forth with a gunsmith that accidentally bent my G3 retractable stock while it was being worked on. He said they were able to rebend it back in place, but it is MUCH tighter to get on and off. Before they bent it, it was snug on my receiver, but still easy to get on and off without messing with it too much. Now it's a struggle to get it on. The gunsmith is telling me that the stock is supposed to be that tight, however, it was not like this when I originally purchased it.

Is there anyone out there with a G3 retractable stock that could check some measurements? Below are the current measurements of my stock.

Notice how the bottom of the stock plate curves inward. Is this normal?

They should replace your A3 stock entirely, IMO. I'd measure mine for you but I don't have it here in Maryland at the moment.
