This is maryland,a may issue state with no castle doctrine.i thought we were suppose to use our vomit and feces when a intruder breaks in our house?
There are other alternatives besides legal force with an assault rifle
maybe pled or pray the intruder doesnt harm your life! After all this is what the politic elites want in this state,spare the criminal let the law abiding die.
Think that when it matters and then it may not matter to you. May issue has no bearing inside your home facing a deadly force threat.

I revised my post! To get to the point,i want any defender of their home that had to use deadly force be set free asap without any legal troubles regardless if he/she is an average citizen,leo etc....

I just know that this state with its foolish public safety laws makes it a hassle if God forbid you must use lethal force in self defense.

There was a case where a college student killed a man with a samurai sword while the police were on location....no charges at all.
If an armed subject broke into a "joe citizens" house and got killed the odds that there would be a trial is extremely low.
