You live in Maryland, which has minimum 29in OAL for Semiautomatic Centerfire rifles .

For Rimfires, or bolt, lever, single, pump , etc centerfires does not apply .

So an SBR'd Rossi Ranch Hand doesn't have to fit the 29" minimum? Sweet. Also, it looks like Silencershop's Kiosk Form 1 service has been discontinued. Any other "ez" methods?

SilencerShop has a Form 1 service which makes the entire process for an individual or trust easy to do. You just need to go to one of the local FFL kiosks and it takes care of the photo and fingerprint requirements. You can also pay for the stamp at the same time.

    Details here: https://www.silencershop.com/atf-form-service.html
I haven’t checked in a bit, but the last time I did, SilencerShop suspended their Form 1 service. I’m on the email reminder list when they get it back online, and still haven’t heard back.

i built a sbr utilizing a radical firearms 7.5 barrel. bad ass looking gun. however very violent on the muzzle end. i believe the powder isnt in the barrel long enough and is being lite at and or near the muzzle. excessively loud and a very out flash. so a 7.5 might be to short to shot enjoyable.

If it's a 5.56, then yes. Even with a 10.5" bbl, you still get a good sized fireball, but is a bit tamer to shoot. I only shoot mine suppressed.

Yeah, I emailed them about it. It's gone for good. They said that ATF decided that "third parties" aren't allowed to do the Form 1 paperwork/process. The good news is you can still at least use the kiosks for fingerprints.

Do the eForm 1 on your own at the eforms portal.
