I wouldn't be too fast to agree with them. From their site:

It sound like they're blaming the NRA also. Although, I haven't checked, but I doubt the NRA is supporting Mike Miller.

Very small amounts of money going back many years. NRA really doesn't give much money to even the Republican politicians that the Hogg cries about.

Well then where does all of the money go? I would like to see a better accounting of where my dues and NRA ILA contributions are spent as well as more pro-MSR board members.

Just to keep it straight -

The NRA-PVF ( Political Victory Fund ) is the PAC , that gives money to candidates, and rates candidates.

The NRA-ILA ( Institute for Legislative Action ) Lobbies . aka attempts to influence the politicians after they are in office .

And by all means become eligible to vote in Board elections , and vote .

Thanks! I had forgotten that the candidate contributions had to be separated from lobbying.

I mentioned the ILA because it is where all of my additional contributions, other than maybe Midway round ups, have gone since I became a life member. I started following and voting in board elections two cycles ago when I realized that the board is not necessarily fully supportive of MSRs.

ETA: Just went to Midway's site to see where the round up goes which is to the ILA Endowment.

I am a proud papa. MM Junior made it through the HB1302 floor vote before we needed to bug out. It was a good day.

As to Miller and "NRA money" , once a political power broker reaches a certain level of power , every group, on every side of every issue has to pay at least a token amount of tribute , or they'll never get a phone call returned , and otherwise get retaliated .
