    Decent write up in The Capital

    Szeliga campaigns in Annapolis after radio debate with Van Hollen

    The visit included a stop at Chick and Ruth's Deli, where owner Ted Levit praised her as the kind of leader needed to change Washington.

    Szeliga, a delegate from Baltimore County who attended Severna Park High School, was escorted by former delegate, jeweler and state Senate hopeful Ron George as she stopped in for quick chats with business owners and customers.

    After George introduced Szeliga as the candidate seeking to replace retiring Sen. Barbara Mikulski, Szeliga quipped: "Yes, I am the younger, taller Polish girl this time," garnering a few chuckles.

    Van Hollen is campaigning in Nap'Town with loser Brown-stain.

    Van Hollen is slated to campaign in Annapolis on Saturday with U.S. Rep. John Sarbanes and former Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown.

    For the half dozen of us there today, I think we did a pretty good job of de-enthusing "The Van Hollowheads".em3

    We had messages and facts.

    They had "Because Chris Van Hollen".

    It would have been funny if it wasn't so sad.

    I would have loved to came and kick the dems in their nads again. However a 9AM soccer tournament in Mannassas took me away....

    I would have stood in the rain..... Heck I stood in the rain for an hour just to watch!!!!!!!

    I am still not home yet, but I am starting a new thread called "Patriots Shame Van Hollen Again".

    We have some good pictures of Van Hollen ducking and diving and complaining. Many thanks to today Patriots mustering up in Howard County: Deep Lurker, Gryphon, Mr H and Not_an_outlaw--who makes LONG trips from S. Maryland to join these efforts.

    Pics up soon under the new thread--and once again another run in with SECURITY wanting to run us off!
