ID this barrel stamp?

This stamp is located on top of the barrel, right in front of the receiver. Rifle is a sporterized K98 in .30-06 and the barrel has iron sights. It doesn't appear to be a recent conversion.

Does anyone recognize the stamp? Was it from an importer, barrel manufacturer or a gunsmith?
