I would call them baseline, as in, if you go lower you are cheating your self. If you go higher, you're on the right track.Yes.
But simply the act of saying that, still proves that Colts are the standard all other AR are compared .
Just a quick update: Daemon has really been helping me out and I've ordered all the parts! Base rifle with no frills and basic irons was $808.17! I'll add a parts list and pictures once we put it together.

Dont let him lube your gun.

What am I going to do about you? I gave you the last bit of Miltec I had, so I was able to fully embrace the Chadwin lube method of liberal tears, snowflake tears, Hillary supporter butthurt, and KY/Astroglide.
Now all I need is a 40 cal and a cheesesteak and I'll be awesome.
Happy with my Windham (got a great deal too) and remember everyone telling me to build don't buy.
I don't have any regrets but def want to build one and if I was more familiar with the right tools I would have did that first
That bottle was pristine. I think it was a case of them and you have a stash.
Base rifle with buis 808.16. with all the additionals, probably 950?Congrats. Approximately much did you invest in the parts on your list?

Gotta get rid of that A2 grip. Go with Magpul or Hogue. If the TRS-25 craps out get a Sig Romeo 5. I had a TRS-25 on a VEPR 12 and it killed it. Bushnell sent me a brand new one for free, which was awesome.
