Got it out to the AGC today and it shoots as good as it looks, function perfect. Target is 2 clips, 16 rounds at 100 yards, Greek surplus, 2 low are before sight adjustment after moving it from 25 yards where I checked zero. If my 61 year old eyes could see the front sight it would be even better.
Charlie got the barrel and sights indexed perfectly, windage is dead center and I did not have to touch the windage knob, great Garand gunsmith.

Yes he still does work, best to email him as to what he is currently doing and what you need done.

Just wanted to shout out thank you for recommending him. I met up with him this afternoon for him to look at my 308 M1 tanker. I will say this guy really knows his stuff and is a very nice guy to deal with. I was a little nervous after buying my tanker and reading about some stuff on the internet but I think he put my mind at ease and it appears to be a good rifle, so thanks for the recommendation

That's a pretty glowing red stock!
I've got a 1903 Springfield made in 1918 that's that red and a Trapdoor that's red mahogany in color. People think they've been stained, but it's just what the oils in the some stocks do over the years.
    Very nice rifle you got.
