Great story. Must confess I've already been inspired by this short film; I think I saw it here somewhere before, maybe not.

"You know if we all did this we could kill the beast by removing it's money and slave supply, the Old World Order(it isn't anything new) or if you prefer New World Order, whatever you want to call it, it would die without blind slaves supporting it....**** the system and the psychopathic satanists that rule the world, they need to be stopped."

You know... there's something in that comment.

I have watched both parts on PBS, seen the first part multiple times. Everytime I have seen it on it was late at night.

I highly recommend it, if it was on now I would watch it again.

We've come a long way from what was once called "woodcraft" to the modern "leave no trace" outdoors experience huh?

If you haven't, you should read his account of building the cabin and his first year up there. The description of how he built the cabin makes it worth the read, and his sentiments as an outdoorsman are interesting.

Not just hand tools, but hand tools with handles hand made with hand tools.

Whenever I think about doing something like this, I think about how much wood I burn to heat my house and two things come to mind.
    1. Make the cabin small.
    2. It would still take a shipload of wood to get through the winter.

If Dick (and those like him) is the measure of a man, and I think he must be, I will continue to fall short of the bar. The soul wants for that wilderness and strength to live there but the brain knows better. Just to see it on film makes me happy.

That sums it up perfectly for me. Well said.
