  • There is '95/'96 carbine on Gunbroker that will be ending just before 8:00pm tonight. It is currently at $1050 with <1hr to go. The only significant issue I see is the rear sight is from a '95/'96 rifle (graduated to 18)
This is a real, early variant, Krag carbine.
If anyone is seriously looking for a real Krag carbine, this might end up being an absolute steal.

Sold for $1725. Supposedly, there was a BIN for $1500. I never saw that- I would have told a MDS'er to jump on the BIN.

I never saw a BIN either. I would’ve been tempted, but I’m doing a little downsizing and have other stuff a little higher on the list of things to get

Somebody got a solid, early, original carbine for a good price.
I started the thread because I thought it may have gone for $1200-$1300 at the hammer.

On a reserve auction, BIN option goes away once the reserve is met.

    I'll be that guy:
If I was a bidder (which I wasn't on this) I probably wouldn't have been too happy about someone publicly posting a live auction link and getting more attention/potential bids when it was still under-valued...
