Anybody hear about the rodeo off Redden rd the other day?
Evidently it’s being labeled as a c -19 hotspot multiplier.
Carnage and the state authorities are having a freak out.
They were dancing, singing and had a live stage operating during the event.

There’s a farm back in there that looks to have an equestrian exercise track for trotters/ jumping horses.

From Bridgeville on up the road this morning to Smyrna I have heard a steady increase to the number of attendees rapidly expand from 1000-2000 who did not social distance, wear masks and had the gall to smile, dance and have a good time.

Carnage is talking about sending in the state police to break up any gathering of more than 10 persons on private property who do not ask his permission to congregate.

This could include church prayer groups, political committees that meet on private property or maybe even a hunt club work party or trap shoot on your farm.

Delaware Online evidently has more info. https://www.wdel.com/news/state-sla...cle_661c9922-f23d-11ea-8639-b3e71201b830.html

I saw the new restrictions but didn’t know why they were implemented. It takes 2 weeks for symptoms to show, when did the rodeo happen?

    Sometime over the weekend.
I seen some signs yesterday on Redden road that were in Spanish.
Red paint on 4x8 plywood sheets.
Looks like a great big fiesta and cook out good time party thing went down.
It was a great setback regarding established precautionary measures that have been in place.
Someone may have gotten lucky in the parking lot too.
    Who knows.
Someone with political aspirations may be doing a reverse snitch to push some buttons up north.

Doesn’t that go against their own info? 2 weeks to show any symptoms. Not 3 days

Carnage and company is outraged that no one in official capacity approved the get together.
Because the poultry industry was subject to an outbreak the thinking is the rodeo may have compromised the ability of the state to control a potentially dangerous outbreak.
Allegedly there were traffic incidents and other dangerous activities that also affected nearby persons welfare.

I think the silence of the hosts may actually have been some sort of violence. Or was an intended position to prevent ICE from crashing the party or not bringing their own beverages.

Or maybe ICE was there and someone forgot the First Rule of Rodeo Club?

WBOC just had pics of the concert on the 7pm news. Over a thousand people there easily. Gov. Carnage is just mad he didn't get his cut or tacos.

It was probably every bit of 2K people! One Delaware state trooper, saw a second inbound as we past. We use Redden road frequently to hit our weekend place and I've never seen anything like it. Like state fair amount of people!

Rodeo organizer faces fines, charges for violating state of emergency

If you rat out the names of those who attended we will cut the fines. :sad20:

After reviewing photos and video from the Sept. 3 rodeo, Division of Public Health officials issued penalties against the Mexican Folkloric Dance Society of New York and Rancho El 24, the event organizers.

Not only were people not social distancing or wearing face coverings, officials said, the event did not have a permit from the Delaware Division of Small Business for a gathering of more than 250 people.

As a result of the violations, DPH fined the organizers $21,000, which included $10,000 each for face covering and social distancing violations, and $1,000 for failure to secure proper approval.

Officials said penalties may be reduced if event organizers provide names and contact information for all spectators, performers, staff, promoters and organizers who were at the event. This must include phone numbers or email addresses, officials said, and the information must be received within seven days of receipt of the enforcement notice.
