  • In the state were the War of Northern Aggression started? Whoever submitted this either has balls of steel or is dumb as a box of rocks. I lived in SC for 13 years..Those good ol boys don't play. You try to take their toys and they will burn down your house....that's not a metaphor..

Been thinking of SC when I get paroled from the DPRM in six years. That's very comforting knowledge. Looking even better because of it.

Even though SC is comfortably republican there are pockets of commies (mostly carpet bagging yankees) mixed in...The low country (Charleston mostly) and Columbia have the majority of the lefties..I don't know what type of terrain you favor but you have the choice pretty much of oceanfront to the mountains to chose from. The upstate (Greenville area) are solidly right wing...the downside to the upstate is you are forced to deal with the pew jumpers and bible thumpers...

Glad it died but agree with some previous comments. I've lived in Charleston and Greenville. Both are solidly family-friendly and conservative for the most part. Downtown Chas likes to consider itself cosmopolitan and Isle of Palms, Kiawah and Seabrook Islands are rich folk and a bit liberal but make no mistake, these people will dump you in the swamp if you stop in and demand they hand over their guns. The college educated professionals and executives I knew were as pleasant as the day is long but step across the line and they'll go toe-to-toe. Liberal in SC is about the same as RINO Republican here, Clyburn and a few others notwithstanding.
