While not a fawn, a deer did pay a visit to Hickock45 in his latest video. Check out starting at 13:48 in the lower right hand corner

My dog spotted one a few days ago here in Montgomery cty out in my neighbor's yard with her mom, eating his azaleas.

I'm on umpteen-some acres of parkland and idiot neighbors feed the herd of deer that roam around here spreading lyme, ehrlichia and other umpleasant tick-borne diseases. Neighbors also feed the TNR cats.

I have a bear of a time trapping those damned cats, taking them to the ASPCA. The coyotes aren't doing their part to keep the population down.

Should start practicing my bowyer skills some...

Just spotted our first one with its mother. Still very small and walking awkwardly.

Saw my first ones a couple days ago, a pair of twins standing alone in a field then later that evening at home I saw a wee tiny one following momma at the edge of the back field with a yearling following behind them.

A month ago or so,I was wondering how the fawns and turkey poults were doing after the cold and wet spring we had?
Seems like the fawns are doing ok.
