I've no experience with it but you have to keep in mind this ammunition was designed and made for specific performance parameters that may or may not apply for your intended use...but you can say the same about any ammunition. Law enforcement ammunition is usually designed for a specific depth of penetration, ability to pass through barriers without opening up and then open up within a body, penetrate auto glass, anti-flash additives, etc.

That being said...it's probably an excellent choice for personal protection. I don't think you can go wrong.

Anyone have any experience with this ammo ?? I've only dealt with 147 gr HST.

Most testing I've seen with them puts about on par with Gold dots, similar expansion, but less penetration than HSTs. The idea behind a bonded bullet is that the core and jacket won't separate, and it is a valid design, but better jacket designs with better mechanical retension, and tapered jacket thickness can do things a bonded or essentially electrolated jacket can't. It's not bad ammo by any means even if it isn't the best, but the real practical issue is that it is discontinued, and could be tough to get down the road. It costs a lot of money to invest in a particular brand/model of carry ammo, you need to run a few boxes through to ensure function, then run through some every so often to keep familiar with it, and replace old ammo that gets beat up. Switching ammo to gain performance could be worth the cost, but IMO that isn't the case here. Jjust keep using what you are familiar with, and specifically 147gr HST is probably the best performing 9mm load on the market, with the light recoil and blast that comes with heavy bullets, so I wouldn't switch.
