Green dot sights

Why are there so few green dot sights out there compared to red dots? Am I the only person who has such an easier time with a green dot compared to a red dot? I love my Strikefire 2 compared to my TRS25 (still like it, but the green dot is easier on my eyes). I would like to find a TRS sized green dot sights that is better than air soft quality. It seems the only compact green dots are UTG and other Amazon knock off type brands.

No experience with either but they should be in between the Vortex and UTG's.
I'm looking at getting one too, just haven't made a final choice for a 10/22. May just go with a williams peep.

I have a Leupold 1.5x4 mark AR scope with a green firedot reticle. It is actually easy to see during the day, even at low power. Only issue I have with the scope is that it's not a true 1x.

That price is a bit steep. I got mine a couple of years ago for about $375 with a Leupold mount.

Less available probably because the red LED production is more prevalent. Green is easier to see since it is in the middle of the visible light spectrum.

Trijicon has some options but they are not cheap.

Except that was the rational behind red cockpit lighting in planes. But they found that white or green lighting worked better, because you could turn down the intensity and still see things.

So in laser sight terms, you could use say a 2mW green laser, versus a 5mW red one, and have longer battery life, or a smaller device.
