What a waste of time. Circuit after Circuit (even the "conservative" ones) have upheld every gun law under the sun. We either need to work on getting preemption laws through Congress or getting the Supreme Court to take a case.

Why not elect conservative judges and/or representatives and we won't have this problem at all. People are too worried about winning lawsuits after horrible laws get enacted. Why not keep the laws from being enacted in the first place? Seems pretty simple to me. If you don't like where you live, move. Let the liberals have Maryland, California, New York and Massachusetts. It's the only states they want. It's a pretty big country and there are plenty of other really cool states to live in.

Not even close. Liberals wreck their states, and then they start moving in mass to conservative states, for the "good quality of life" and "low cost of living." Then the minute they get there, they start voting for Democrats to implement the same policies they just fled. This pattern has been seen time after time. If you think the liberals are going to stop after Maryland, California, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, you're deluding yourself.

While correct about laws not being enacted in the first place, the problem is that liberals don't just want Maryland, California, Massachusetts, and New York. Look at how hard they are trying to take over Virginia, Colorado, even parts of Texas. They want to have their liberal agenda enacted everywhere. They won't stop until everyone conforms to their beliefs. Good luck with that Liberals, come get some.

That sounds like a version of Islam, which liberals appear to imbrace as well. SMH

How do you think cases get to the Supreme Court?

The Supreme Court already ruled that gun bans are unconstitutional and have said they won't hear any more cases because they already made a ruling. Apparently, Maryland, California and Massachusetts didn't get that memo.

The point is, they've denied cert on every case so far. It's a waste of time to keep trying until something changes up there.

Or if you anticipate that something will have changed by the time your case gets there. Which is precisely the situation here.

Remember that it takes years for a case to reach the Supreme Court.
