What is this?
A large fundraiser for the Fire Co. 12PM - 6PM Numbers are drawn every 15 minutes from the entry ticket #, for various firearms. In addition numerous instant bingo raffles are run at the same time for additional firearms. Music, food, beer, soda etc.

They do these Gun Bashes all the time in Garrett Co. Oakland, Grantsville, McHenry, & Friendsville usally hold them, for funding the fire departments.

LOL, Friendsville isn't much of a getaway for us out this way.
I know it's not much of a getaway. But I get out with a few friends, knock back a few, drool over the guns, and check out some different perspectives on fire apparatus. Not much more going on there, than where I live.

I wasn't meaning for you to get away, I just meant for us out here, I can be in Friendsville in about 15 minutes. I sneezed once and missed the exit.... Well actually the whole town.
I can't find anything specific right now for this one, but by doing an internet search, there are other fire co's holding the regularly in the area, as posted previously.

If you're still up here on Sunday, slip down to the range in introduce yourself, we'll be there from 8-12 Savage River Range a few miles south of New Germany State Park.
Well, didn't win any firearms. One number off on one ticket though. But I did manage two small door prizes, an oil filter for a Briggs & Stratton engine, and a bag of # 64 rubber bands. Actually it was a Primos doe bleat call, and a turkey box call. Maybe next year.

Grantsville's gun bash is in april sometime. I'll check the dates as soon as i buy some tickets.
