Can't say I have a lot of sympathy for folks who have been fighting us tooth-and-nail up until now. Prepare to learn, MFers.

Screw every single one of them. When this is done and over they will go right back to their diseased way of thinking.

Is it wrong to hope that these liberal pukes are the first targets of opportunity for the lowlifes if the S really does HTF?

    Maybe a little.
But realistically, the dude with the Birkenstocks, Prius and Bernie sign would be my target before Joe six pack with a pick up and Trump 2020.

but that's where youre giving them too much credit sir. Their ego and hate for all things trump and joe 6 pack will over power their brain to think that Bernie sign and prius are likely easier targets.

It is good that some people have awakened to the idea that firearms are a useful tool.

It is unfortunate that it took a global pandemic for them come to that reality.

Point them to the muzzleloading rack and specifically the flintlocks because of course the second amendment only applies to those.

I helped a buddy decide on a gun for him and his wife. He’s liberal but very middle of the road, could vote either way in any election.

It's not my job to talk sense into antigun people or try and jumpstart their dead brain.

If lefties want guns or training, I'm not the guy.

Don't like my stance? Don't care.

The only way that they can purchase is to visit the next gun show.

Tell them to bring their wallet. Then walk around and look until they find the table with the large overhead sign that says "GUNSHOW LOOPHOLE".

    I respect you, brother.

My "street experience" teaches me that behavior shapes attitude. If I can get a leftie to the range because s(he) is initially motivated by fear or whatever, and my time is spent teaching, increasingly famiiar behavior begins to inform attitude. (That's the short version.)

While I understand the attitude of "f'em" and let them sweat...I'd much rather those new to firearm ownership receive proper safety and handling instructions and how to shoot...whether for defense or target shooting. There's no need for newbies...whatever their political affiliation and motivation to own a gun...to be unsafe and potentially cause a tragedy within their own homes or elsewhere. Some may find it's not for them...some may find it's an enjoyable pastime and discipline...and hopefully realize that the rest of legitimate gun owners are not the slack-jawed inbreds and nuts they've always been told we are.

This might be a good occasion to teach and convert. I see no point in rejecting potential allies.

Not exactly related to thread topic, but worth sharing.

A couple weeks ago, before the frenzy became widespread, a friend in Ohio, who is not a gun owner, asked for advice on a rifle for small varmints like rabbit, squirrel and occasional groundhog. After some back and forth regarding expected ranges and use I suggested a Ruger 10/22. Good entry level rifle, widely available, common caliber, parts, etc, etc. Also gave some guidance on various types of 22 lr (and to make sure he is not buying shorts or magnums). And relayed what to expect for background check. This info was shared via text.
He goes to Walmart on Monday to purchase. There was a line at the sporting goods counter like everywhere now. He went through the paperwork and background check. Then clerk tells him they are not selling him the rifle because he was looking at his phone (our text thread) during the process. They suspected a straw purchase. Denied.
So he learned many lessons in one trip. I advised him to tell his liberal friends how “easy” it is to buy a gun. Also advised him his first mistake was Walmart.
