    What is your main goal. I would say the only advantage over a cheap harris bipod would be the cost. However you give up a lot of flexibility that you gain with a bipod or an adjustable bench rest. The thing is that when shooting prone you want to bear into stock with your shoulder and put forward pressure on the bipod. You cant do that with this product.

    Picked up a $5 yoga block and 2 wrist weights from Walmart for sitting in this fall. About $10 total.

    Thought about cutting a notch, but the flexible wrist weight on top of the foam worked for me.
