I am looking at a Just Right 9MM carbine. So far my research has shown mostly favorable reviews, but also a few not so good reviews. Anyone have first hand experience with them?

I have one. I like it but not as much as I like the Beretta CX4. The good thing about JustRight is that I can use my Glock mags with it.

I just got the JR 9mm as well. Haven't had a chance to fire it yet, hopefully this week. From all of the issues I've seen so far it seems to be a cleaning issue just like with so many other semi-auto firearms.

The JR's need good lubrication, so follow Clandestine's protocol, or a good one you have, and don't try and run it dry. It definitely needs more lube than a comparable 9mm pistol.

For sure cleaning is a bit of chore and do keep it lubricated with the substance of your choice. I tend to follow Clandestine's recommendations too!

I have one and its very fun to shoot. They are very versatile since you can change so many things on it. You can even change the magazine type and caliber. Not to mention the plethora of AR accessories that you can use with it. As others have stated, my biggest gripe is trying to clean it, but even that isn't really that bad.

Nice firearm fun to shoot. Only 10 round magazines for them though

They do have 15 round magazines but have heard they aren't as dependable.

You can order magazines for $17 bucks each delivered right from the factory. As cheap as they are you can just load up.

    BTW...love my 995.

Another vote for the hi point. No issues with mine and very accurate.

Ditto on the Hi Point... Have had one for years. Handles everything - never had a FTF, doesn't require any TLC, and the price leaves $$$ left over for buying ammo...

I have one of the JRs in 9mm.
    The good:
    - I love the fact that I can use my glock mags for it.
-It is pretty accurate - cloverleaf groups at 25m.
-It can be set up for other calibers.
-No stoppages yet (only 300 rounds through it)
-It takes some AR accessories so I can mod it up and use it as a trainer.
    The bad:
-It is overpriced for what you get. 450 would be a fair price for what it is.
-Overall materials and design are iffy. Not real fond of steel screws threaded to aluminum pillars. Not a fan of the charging handle attachment either.
-I do not recommend frequent disassembly.
-Fully railed hand-guard is just extra weight and not needed. YMMV

Overall its an OK range toy with a little training value. I would like to check out a Thueron carbine for comparison. I think that would have been a better choice.

Spatha, thanks for the info. I looked into a Theureon, but they are out six months on manufacturing. The Thureon pricing was around $800.00. They really didn't seem to be the easiest company to deal with, just my impression.

Finally fired my JR today. I have to say, I really like this little thing, and a lot more than I expected.

It's a little heavy, but I found it to be very well balanced. If the rail is too much for you, swap for a lighter one and the balance will be spot on.

I threw a cheap red dot on it and had it sighted in at 50' indoor range in 12 rounds. After that I was consistently making single hole 3 round groups. I the tried a couple of quick transitions off hand and it the rounds fell right into place (and I'm not an experienced off hand shooter)

I have a beretta cx4 storm. It's great be qua it converts for lefties. However, I wish the trigger could be worked over so it fires smoother.
