Eyeballing Taylors and Cimmarrons right now along with Henry for a 357. What is the difference you see between the toggle 73 and a 92? I don't know much about 92's.

The 92 is a stronger action versus the 73, 66, and 60. But you have to do the full lever stroke to work the action on the 92. With the 73, there are short stroke kits and springs that cut the lever throw by a significant amount. Basically, you place your right thumb on the stock and push the lever out and back without moving your thumb.

It's not possible with the 92.

As closer.. Got my refund check for rifle, taxes and shipping to send back from Browning/Winchester. Shame, loved that rifle but......the new boy is quite nice! Taylor/Uberti in 357. woof!

That's a nice looking rifle. This one works, right?

I have 4 boxes of 357 through it, many many 38's (Rem white box runs well keep your cartridges at 1.450" or longer and youre fine). plus a few boxes of Hornady leverevolution with no signs of issues. I also put the wisper spring kit in it and the low marbles rear sight, love it! Trigger job possible in the future but Ill shoot as is for a long while I think.
