I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these. Has anyone had experience with them?
18" barrel, no flash hider, fixed stock, comes with a 10 rd mag. Mags are a standard type and under 20 bucks I hear.
But I'm wondering about the barrel and it's performance?
(almost had a combo unit, until I asked Bass Pro about selling to md...NOGO!)

NJ is a funny state. I could not bring in my S&W 15-22 for a rimfire match because it had an adjustable stock, detachable mag, pistol grip, and a threaded barrel. Even switching to a fixed stock did not make it legal. Could only have 2 of the other 3 to be legal. I think a 522 would need to have a non-threaded barrel also to comply. Ended up building a 10/22 that only had a threaded barrel and a detachable mag (one piece thumbhole stock passed). I would check to be totally sure, but the people holding the match had a link to their state regs and based on that reading is why I did it the way I did.

Are you in NJ or planning on taking it to NJ?

Yeah I called most of our IP's, local Pa, and some in De. Miller's had 3 of these and I picked it up!
It ain't NJ compliant anymore, either!! Mags are plentiful and inexpensive, and the rail is one piece with the upper, a billet of 7075...sweetly designed rifle!

I put a BSA red dot on last night. Had to take the rear Williams sight off. I might just leave the front sight on till I see how it is at the range. Rear sight is a peep and covers the whole red dot, so it had to go. Later on I might buy the flip up kit from Sig. I get a load of Black Dog mags today.
