question about references
To those who received their permits were your references contacted? Most of the people who know me are antis and would not be happy about being used as a reference for a carry permit... just curious if they actually contacted anyone. Thanks

further, since MSP disapproved my permit request in 2012,but did not deny it, I answered no to the question about whether Ihad ever been denied.
Permit arrived in 31 days.

Nothing as of Saturday's mail.Though my check has not gone through my bank, this is the email I received from Permits and Licensing yesterday:
You application has been processed your card will be mailed from our office on Monday.

Based on other's check cashed dates I had bypassed the hibachi and was going staight to:
At least gas is now only $1.99 a gallon so I won't have to spend much money to self-immolate.

You and I must have ended up in the same pile that seems to be taking a little longer than the others. They should arrive this week. At least that is what I was told by the NHSP.
i think people who mailed their app on or after June 28th got caught in a rush of other apps. I mailed mine the day before and got in under the wire.
