Today I received an unsolicited email from someone I never heard of before offering to sell pistols, rifles, machine guns and high capacity magazines directly, accepting payment only by PayPal, with and without a FFL. Obviously these transactions would mostly be illegal. I suspect it is either from a criminal (1% chance), a formal or informal "sting" operation (24% chance) or a criminal scammer (75% chance). This is just a reminder, if something seems hinky, too good to be true, and involves you committing a felony you should not get involved.
