    Anyone out there know the size of the threads on these rifles? Or.. have the tools to measure them. I found a muzzle break i love and want to put it on there. Not because the recoil needs to be tamed but, because it'll protect the threads.. AND tame the recoil for my kids.

    I have read M14x1 before and when googling it, see it mentioned again.


    There are some out there you can by that are labeled for the 6.5 Swedish Mauser I almost got a Swedish Mauser once with a threaded barrel but it got snagged up before I had the chance to buy it now.
    My current one is not threaded so I'm going by memory plus a quick googlefu.
