The classifieds are part of what got me to finally join / make bad posts; but I agree that a limit probably ought to be set. 50 posts isn’t a huge milestone. Maybe include a “oh hey there’s a classified section for +50 posts” along with the usual greetings/Join MSI posts when a newbie joins.

The classifieds is also what got me on the MDshooters board; and while 50 posts isn't A LOT- I've posted as often as I feel relevant and I'm still <50.

Well, I’m not a newbie, but I haven’t posted much. Reading replies from apparent sellers in this post, I guess I should post from time to time just to get my “count” up. If I ever want to purchase from someone here, I would hope I could use the names of friends on this site as references. Trust me, people that know me know that I’m a serious 2A supporter and a Patron Life member. I also own a firearm or two, or three, or....

Experienced sellers tend to look at your previous posts to get a feel whether or not you're a legit gun guy/gal. To me, it is not about number of posts or length of membership. I want to see that you're a legitimate buyer.

MADad- I would definitely vet you as a buyer via your previous posts because I don't recognize your screen name. (Your posts passed my sniff test BTW- trolls don't bring up Jewel triggers)

VFRgrl- You're a newbie, but you made yourself at home very quickly. Hell, you got a private invite to the pig roast after 2 weeks of membership.
