I have been given the hunting rifle that I used as a teenager. Win 94 (1979 model). It's top eject and a 2x7 leupold scope was mounted on the left side. The rear sight needed to be reversed in order for the scope to fit on the rifle. The scope is no longer on the rifle.
My question is, do I remove the rear sight in the same manner as if it was being removed while in the correct orientation? Left to right until it pops off.
