Picked up a new rifle this evening

Yep, I did it, I just couldn't help myself. Watching other Hooligans shoot their new Garands made me crazy so I went and got one for what I think, was a bargain. Now it is not a CMP rifle so it may need some TLC. I am just lucky enough to know two people who went to the CMP school recently. I am sure with their guidance, it will be shooting well soon.

It does have a stock repair but to me, that adds character! :thumbsup:

Character is what makes the rifle. You know it is yours, and can identify it easily.

You will need a Schuster adjustable gas plug to save your OP rod, when working up loads.

Ok, I just got done loading 20 rounds for tomorrow just to see how (if) she shoots. There may be a Labor Day edition of a Hooligan shoot. Stay tuned! I am stoked! I have shot several Garands before but, they belonged to other people. This is my rifle, this is my gun.............
