I built a bench this summer and based mine on plans found in YouTube.

I used a flush mounting plate by inline fabrication and leveling feet since my floor wasn’t. Wish I had more room, and while the space is tight it’s a darn site better than the old workmate is had been using.

I have limited space in my work area and this is something that I think would definitely fit the bill! Did you just search “Toms workbench” in YouTube?

I made mine but didnt use any plans. Mine is attached directly to the wall studs. I used 2x3 for framing and 3/4" red oak for the top.
