    Hey all. I found this site searching for information about the Hunter Safety Course Field Day, which I'm doing next week in Frederick (wish me luck!) I'm a 45 yr old mother of 3, a homemaker, farm worker, and teacher. I didn't grow up hunting and the first time I ever shot a gun was just a few years ago. I'll probably be a silent lurker here, but I did want to express my appreciation to the folks who posted on the threads about the field day; definitely boosted my confidence!

    Yes, welcome!

    I'm not a hunter either, but I took that course a few years ago, got a license, but didn't much enjoy it. Great learning experience anyway, who knows, you may love it.

    Great on you for taking the training, hope to read more from you in the future. :)
