They really are. It’s time for that rag to go out of business.

Their ignorance, bias and lack of journalistic integrity has been enshrined by the recent "consolation prize/participation trophy" awards they received recently.

Great piece by Amy Swearer of the Heritage Foundation “Law-abiding citizens hurt by gun restrictions” published in the Opinion section of today’s Capital Gazette

    Very surprised they published.

And someone, Elise Handelman, responds to that column with another stupid letter calling for gun registration. She claims what's missing from Swearer's column is that it offers no alternative to more gun restrictions. Handelman claims that gun registration will achieve a host of things yet none of those things will reduce gun crime so she offers no alternative either. I'd like to know how gun registration will do any of the things she claims. What a joke.

In an article at the Capital Gazette about Governor Hogan's budget that includes funding for a memorial of the shooting there, the author wanders into "other bills that mention the newsroom attack." Of note:
A bill from Del. Neil Parrott, R-Washington County, aims to bring back the death penalty in cases of mass murder and is named the Capital Gazette Shooting Memorial Act.
Not surprisingly, Angrier Chamblee responds -
Andrea Chamblee, whose husband John McNamara died in the newsroom shooting, said she was appalled to learn what Parrott called his bill. Chamblee is active in the Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

“For him to introduce this bill using the names of the victims is infuriating,” Chamblee said.

She said it shows bad faith that he is using this as a “tough on crime” gesture when she feels it is disrespectful to the victims and survivors of the shooting.

“It’s disturbing that he didn’t bother to ask any of the survivors before he takes our name and uses it for the political stunt,” Chamblee said. “And it is a stunt because it’s not going to bring back anybody. We’re trying to prevent gun violence, not kill more people.”

I wish she would just shut her pie hole. She’s a disgrace to those victims

The Capital Management is purposely keeping the attention on her. That keeps the attention off the fact that the Capital Management's failure to file protective orders against a known threat allowed the murderer to legally purchase the gun used in the murders. Not to mention their direct decision, not to provide any physical protection (No locks, no guards, etc.) for their employee's from said known threat.

Andrea is a fantastic diversion from their own culpability!!!

She is. She's a disgrace to her husband's memory. She's a disgrace to her profession (and his). I wonder how family members of other Capital shooting victims feel about her designating herself the warrior princess who speaks for anyone even vaguely connected to it.

She's a left-wing rage monkey spewing venom at anyone who doesn't agree with her about pretty much anything. It's appalling how the media laps it up and never looks at the insane things she rants whenever she is challenged on anything.

    It's pathetic.

Nope... she hasn't been dragging around her husband's body as a political stunt... of course not.

Would it be bad form to have a latex mask of her husband made and wear to several community functions were MOMs have a table.....Asking for a friend.

As I've said before, she is mentally ill and is being taken advantage of by the anti's as a mouthpiece. They stoop so low as to use a sick person for their ends without regard for her possible recovery. Very sad.

If we could just get her to move to Canada

I promise not to tell her Canada rolled back their big long gun restrictions when no one complied
