This rifle looks pretty awesome so I decided to give it a thread of its own. What I love most is the true ambi controls. My only gripe with the AR design is no ambidextrous bolt hold open/release, except for some M&P rifles I've seen, so you have to take your hand off fire control to lock the bolt.

Looks like it will function very similar to the AR so swapping back and forth might be much easier.

Per B&T the civilian version will be ready for dealer pre-order by SHOT 2016.

Aero has a simple ambi bolt catch model. Looks like it would be super simple to add to a pre-ban receiver w/ minor machining.

LWRC makes a nice ambi lower. Im sure there are others too.

B&T may as well just be '$&$$'

LOL! So true. They make HK look like a bargain brand;)

I have always liked B&T really nice products, not sure of pricing but I wouldn't mind getting someting different. B&T APC9, APC45, and TP9 already shipping in the states, would love to have one of them, but Maryland laws turns dreams into nightmares.

Sorry to revive but has anyone heard, the APC223 is on the MD Pistol Registry!

Thinking of buying one and filing Form 1 SBR (if B&T USA makes 922r parts in the future) and then adding the butt stock.

Only other issue is going to be barrel length on the pistol version. Might have to wait until they import Gen2 version pistols with 10” barrel.

Anyone fired pistol or rifle version of the APC223/556?

They’ve got to start making 922r parts now that they have domestic production with some suppressor lines.

Anyone ever pick 1 of these up? Saw the carbine is now in the states for sale. The pistol has been available for a while.
