Has any one had any negative experiences with the Nikon first series Buckmaster scopes? This one specically is 4.5-14 x 40 and has side parallax adjustment with BDC.

I have the 6-18x 40mm side focus with mil-dot reticle mounted on my Serbu BFG-50. It's not failed me yet, although I haven't shot the gun in a while and only out to 200 yards. I've always hit the jug we've used as a target.

I never had a problem with any of the Buckmaster scopes. I've had 3 of them, one was on my 7mm Mag that I took an Elk with at 325 yards in Colorado.

I thought they were a great value for the quality.

I have a 4.5-14 mildot. It has to go back. Won’t hold a zero. It has been in my savage ml10 for years tho. Been a good scope. Good value for the money

I own 3 Nikon Buckmaster scopes. A 6-18x40 on a DPMS .308, a 4.5-14x40 on a Savage .243 and a 4-14x40 on a Stag Arms 6.8 SPC and have never had an issue with any of them.

I have a Buckmaster scope. The glass is great.
I do wish it had a little better eye relief. You cannot be on top of the scope.

I have the Buckmaster 6-18X40 Mildot with side parallax adjustment mounted on a Stag Model 6 AR. A buddy of mine has a Monarch and I'd say the glass clarity is equal. The 'Buck' works as advertised.
