So Timney has a less expensive single stage trigger "Impact" model that's about $135 as compared to their standard "Competition Trigger" which is about $195. Sounds too good to be true. Any experience with this product?

From what I have read; Timney saved money by allowing for more variability in the trigger pull from 3 to 4 pounds. Indeed, Timney does state 3 - 4 pounds instead of just 3. Might be an issue if you want two or more of these and want consistency. Wish they had a straight version. I am kind of obsessed with single stage straight triggers right now.

I have a POF-USA 4.5lb drop in trigger in my 7.62x39 AR that I built several years ago. The trigger is crisp and has given me no problems.
