Shipping a pistol for out of State repair

Hi Everyone,
I am looking to ship my pistol out of Maryland for repair. Can I do that or does the pistol need to ship thru a Maryland FFL? Thanks in advance

You can ship it directly and they can ship it right back to you. I think you have to overnight it via UPS of FEDEX, don't think you can ship USPS as a non-FFL

Thank you. After checking the rates I may have to have the pistol repaired in Maryland.

The only practical way is to get an ffl to ship usps. Non dealers can only use fedex or ups overnight air and its about 100 bucks.
