Ok I'm really just curious what are everyone's thoughts on this: https://www.saltsupply.com/

Besides the potential trojan horse effect of non lethal self defense projectiles on the market, I'm wondering as a community how do you feel about this as an option for those who want it?

I can imagine a few situations/scenarios where this could be a viable alternative to a traditional firearm. Places where there isn't a safe direction to fire a projectile, as in an apartment building, for example. LE has been using pepper pellets for several years... saw them on one of the cable channels a few years ago, and it seems like a possible non-lethal option. My biggest concern is that there will be a cloud of gas that 'hangs around for 5 minutes' that might incapacitate the good guy(s), and it might not be powerful enough to chase away the bad guys if they are on drugs. For $350 it isn't cheap.

Wonder how it would work on attacking dogs, feral cats, etc.?

Good point on the lingering cloud. If you fire 4 or 5 of those in an apartment I'd imagine you'd have yourself a problem. Especially for kids or pets on the premises.
