Any Experience with the Brownells Retro Rifles

So the Brownells "retro rifles" AR10A and B and the AR15 "prototype" are currently MD legal. Anyone have any experience with these? Looking at the reviews and forum feedback, there seems to be much excitement and a certain cool factor.

Leaning on the fence towards getting the Portuguese styled .308 if we get another year without more weapons bans.

An 8lb .308 just hurts thinking about it

Better than a fly-weight Savage 10 bolt gun. At least the semi-auto action soaks up some of the recoil.

Engage Armament in Rockville has them if you wanna check them out in person. I took a look last time I was in, they are really cool.
